UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEM

It’s known that substance abuse is on the rise in Africa, and Zimbabwe is not spared. A myriad of the Socioeconomic challenges observed in the nation are linked to drug and substance abuse, with mental health and stress increasing as a result. This has burdened families, communities, and health and security systems in the nation. As such we have reason to believe that for sustainable community development, it takes a collective effort from all corporate entities to fight against drug abuse in the nation. As such Jester Media Services is organizing this Conference.

OUR SOLUTION

Jester Media Services (JMS) as a member of the Fourth Estate hosted the Drugs and Substance Abuse Conference. With a goal to put various stakeholders under one roof and facilitate deliberations on drug abuse and most importantly proffer sustainable solutions with set deliverables to ensure that this abomination is thwarted.

OBJECTIVES

• To thoroughly discuss drug abuse issues with key stakeholders.
• To develop and support sustainable solutions.
• To highlight possible opportunities that can be pursued in the fight against Drug and Substance Abuse.
